History

The facts:

Epidemic Scorn was founded in march 2004, formed by Jörn Gallert (guitar), Tobias Flath (guitar), David Rettke (bass), Alex Heber (drums) and Sven Potemski (vocals). So they wrote 8 songs and recorded their first album "the beginning..." After this they played shows with Mathyr, Impaled Nazarene, Yyrkoon, Moshquito a.s.o. In october/november/december 2006 they recorded their second album "system of sickness" (released in May 2007). The music played by Epidemic Scorn is a mix from Death- and Thrashmetal, with a few progressiv influences. In the year 2008 Epidemic Scorn got a complete new lineup. Alexander Heber and Tobias Flath left the band and Stefan Pabsdorf (drums), Michael Richter (guitar, ex-Putrefaction), Florian Spiegler (guitar, ex-Putrefaction) and Marc Mühlhausen (vocals, ex-Putrefaction) stepped insteat. Now the music of the band is more brutal but you can listen more melodic tunes too. Check out the stuff ...
